When you have ever been to Louisiana (Ft.Polk) you know about how many bugs are right here! Read the instructions on the bug zapper, the one I have says keep it no less than 50ft away from site you need protected. The emitting signal has some form of colour/band/and many others (I do not know electrical jargon) that attracts the bugs TO the unit, and Zap Zone Defender AWAY from you! I understand a tent/room doesn't have that space, however possibly as far away as you will get it.
